Whilst designing a pilot TV show for Hewland International in 1998, I met the animatronics and visual effects designer Neal Scanlan. Since then I have collaborated on several projects with and through Neal.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - In 2004 I spent 6 weeks working with Neal and his team, developing certain areas of animatronics, visual effects and make-up.
Don't Eat the Neighbours - aka Big Teeth, Bad Breath in North America. An anglo-canadian production by Granada and Sextant Entertainment. Between 1999-2000 whilst designing the characters I also produced concept art that would tie these designs into their own world.
Tale of the Rats - From 2001-2002, I spent four months working on the development of a Working Title live-action/animatronic feature with Neal Scanlan and director Billy O'Brien. |
